STAGE 1 -

ideation

Idea creation (1 day) – with 'you can do it' support, explore an idea for a small enterprise, based on your creative passion and/or skills  to earn ‘extra cash’ 

Get started (1 day) – basic introduction to business

Take the next step (1 day) – introductions to mentors to help you to further develop your idea who could become your biggest resource for spreading the word about your product.

Site visits (3-5 days) – to get a deeper understanding of your product/service and market needs, visit to businesses operating in your chosen sector will be offered to women intending to participate in stage 2.

STAGE 2 -

showcase

Product /service development (2 days) – serious creators will learn how to produce a prototype to show the overall design concept including some market testing, to ensure the product or service meets market demand.

Crowdfunding (2 days) – learn from the experts the elements of a crowdfunding campaign including how to be confident in front of a camera, build a fanbase, create awesome content and choose great rewards.  

Make it happen (1 week) –with help from the experts produce your crowdfunding video

STAGE 3 -

crowdfunding event 

Final event - at a live ‘kickstart your business’ crowdfunding event, you will present your campaign to an audience interested in pre-purchasing your product or service.  Buyers, networks or partnerships will be formed at this event.

 

An ‘entertaining’ MC will drive the sales from the collective excitement occurring in the room.  This will give you the funds to confidently produce your product as well as achieve early sales and customers.
